Farm Fresh, Student Grown
Experience the harvest of Shone Farm—grown and packed by our students. Each weekly CSA share features a vibrant selection of organically grown, hand-harvested produce, reflecting the diversity and seasonality of our working farm. More than just a box of food, your share is a direct investment in hands-on agricultural education—supporting student internships while connecting you to where your food is grown.

Have more questions about Shone Farm's CSA program? Email us any time at shonefarm@santarosa.edu.
We'll text/email you each week before we harvest, and you'll have until that week's cutoff time (Wednesday at 12pm) to add extras to your order. We'll send you another reminder on pickup day!
We are located at 7450 Steve Olson Lane in Forestville, CA. Upon arrival, please follow the signs to the Student Parking Lot—no permit is required, and you may park in any available space. From there, walk through the garden gate nearest the greenhouses. Your pickup will be directly across from the greenhouses at our Post Production Facility. Head to the north-facing roll-up door, where one of our student interns will be there to welcome you.
Please bring your own bag when picking up your produce. At your first pickup, you’ll receive a complimentary Shone Farm bag to use throughout the season. Beginning in early July, CSA members will also enjoy Friday U-pick coupons as part of their share.
For the safety of our farm operations and livestock, we kindly remind guests that while working dogs are present in certain areas, outside dogs are not permitted on the farm. Service animals are always welcome.
You are welcome to send a friend or family member to pickup in your place. Alternatively, we can donate your share to students in need.
Yes! CSA members can add on extras like our farm-made olive oil, pasture-raised meats, and other value-added products each week through the add-on shop.
Our season runs from June 11th- Nov 20th. Note there is NO CSA the week Oct 8th/9th.
